Ms. Adrienne Minor is excited to begin her 10th year in education and her 3rd year as an administrator. She began her educational journey at Alabama State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2017 — Go Hornets! She later earned two master’s degrees and an Educational Specialist degree from the University of West Alabama in Elementary Education and Instructional Leadership — Go Tigers!
Throughout her career, Ms. Minor has had the opportunity to teach students in grades 3rd–6th, gaining valuable experience in both elementary and middle school settings. In 2024, she transitioned into school administration and discovered a passion for supporting students, teachers, and the overall school community.
Ms. Minor believes that building strong relationships with students and teachers is the foundation for a successful school. Her goal is to create a school environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to do their best. She strives to build meaningful relationships that help ensure the school building runs smoothly, safely, and instructionally, while keeping student success at the heart of every decision.
She is excited to continue growing as a leader and looks forward to making a positive impact on the students, staff, and families of Rutledge Middle School.
